Full-arch implant solutions
A whole arch does not need a whole mouth of implants. Four or six, placed where the bone is strongest, can carry all of it.
What it is
A complete arch of teeth carried on four or six strategically placed implants, rather than one implant per tooth.
It is fixed in place: nothing to take out for cleaning or for sleeping, and no adhesives.
Placement is computer-guided, planned in advance with your restorative dentist so the implants go where the finished teeth need them rather than where they are easiest to put.

People facing the loss of a whole arch, or already without one, who want something fixed rather than removable.
People with a denture they cannot get on with — the movement, the adhesives, or what it will not let them eat.
Whether the bone will carry it, and whether four or six is right, is what the planning establishes. Where there is not enough bone it can often be built first.
What happens, step by step
Planning
Imaging and a plan agreed with your restorative dentist, so the implants are placed for the arch that will sit on them. The guided surgery is designed at this stage.
Surgery
The implants are placed through the surgical guide, in the positions planned rather than judged on the day.
Healing
The implants integrate with the bone. This is the stage that decides how well the arch holds, and it is not one to rush.
The final arch
Your restorative dentist fits the finished teeth. From that point it is cleaned and maintained like anything else fixed in your mouth.

A full arch is a significant investment and the cost depends on the case — how many implants, whether bone needs building first, and what the final arch is made of.
You will have the figure for your own plan before anything is booked, and payment plans are available through Cherry if you would rather spread it.

01Is it the same as a denture?
No. A denture rests on the gum and is taken out. A full arch on implants is fixed to posts anchored in the bone — it is not removed, and it does not rely on adhesive or suction.
02Why only four or six implants for a whole arch?
They are placed where the bone is strongest and angled to spread the load across the arch. That is what guided planning is for, and it is why a whole arch does not need an implant per tooth.
03What if I have been told I have no bone left?
It is worth a second look. Full-arch approaches are often possible where individual implants are not, and bone can frequently be rebuilt first. Imaging at the assessment answers it.
04How do I clean it?
Like teeth, with some specifics. Because it is fixed, cleaning around and under the arch matters, and you will be shown exactly how before you leave with it.
